Virtual Open Access Labs - Remote Desktop
for Texas A&M Labs Accounts
You must use this Browser:
Windows XP or Vista or 7:
Macintosh OSX 10.5 or higher:
A message will tell you to install the appropriate software.
Install the software. Reboot if told to reboot. Reopen the browser and again go to the page
In the Login window:
Enter your TAMU NetID (SEE-Math students: Do not put guest\) and Password.
Select a Domain:
Students and faculty use TAMU.EDU.
Others (including SEE-Math) use GUEST
Click Log on.
Application choices will appear. Click on Virtual Open Access Lab on the left.
The Remote Desktop will open.
Select your account.
Go to work.
To log off:
Click on Start and Log Off.
If you accidentally close the Remote Desktop or click on Start and Disconnect, your session will stay alive for 5 minutes during which you may reconnect from the same or a different computer.
