Public Lecture: Euclidean Motions in the Plane
Dr. Michael Stecher is an Associate Professor of Mathematics at Texas A&M.
He gave a lecture on the importance of translations, rotations and reflections in the study of geometry. The students had already become familiar with these operations while making their computer animations and studying Platonic solids.
