Maplesoft is offering Maple 13 to students in SEE-Math for $40 compared to $99 online or $140 at a bookstore.

I would like to thank Maplesoft for making this discount available to SEE-Math students. This discount should be available until the end of August. I would also like to thank Maplesoft for providing several copies of Maple 13 to use as prizes in the Maple animation contest to be given out on the last day.

Purchasing Maple 13

To purchase a download version of Maple 13 through the Maplesoft Web Store,

Select Category: Student
Select Location: US
Enter the 2009 Promotion Code: S-GF070309-SEE
Click on Start Shopping
Click on Maple 13 Student Edition
Enter Quantity 1
Select your Platform: Windows, Mac or Linux
Click Add to Cart
Click on Skip this Step
Click Proceed to Check-Out
Create a Maplesoft Account (Fill out the info.)
- Student number: see-math 00
- Institution: Texas A&M University
- Professor's Name: Yasskin
- Course: See-Math
- Graduation Date: August 2009
Click on Submit and Continue
Fill out the Credit Card information.
Check Accept the License
Click Confirm and Submit Payment

Configuring Maple 13 for SEE-Math

When you first start, Maple will ask if you want Documents or Worksheets. Select Worksheets.
Select Tools + Options + Display Tab
Set Input display: to Maple Notation.
Select Tools + Options + Interface Tab
Set Default format for new worksheets: to Worksheet.
Select Apply Globally to save your settings.
